For me having a good EDC (every day carry) tool is essential to daily survival. You never know when you need to pen a bottle, tighten a loose screw or cut something. I am always on the lookout for the “perfect” (if such a thing exists) EDC tool. Though I currently carry the Leatherman Style (CS) (a gift from my kids), my favorite EDC tool is the Gerber Artifact. But I’m always on the lookout for anything better. The PIRANHA Pocket Tool seems to fit the bill.

One of my concerns with EDC tools is that they can’t be taken on an airplane. The PIRANHA Pocket Tool is TSA Compliant for carry on. Though it lacks any kind of cutting tool (a requirement for TSA compliance), it does seem like a good item to have for when I have to travel and still need an EDC tool. I’m ordering one. If you do too, let me know (in the comments) how you like it.
